Project description
The operator Eutelsat signed an agreement with the Senegalese Post to provide post offices in the country with an Internet connection via satellite. It allows the dematerialisation of procedures such as money transfers or receipts of retirement pensions but also increase the efficiency of the Post thanks to a more efficient intern digital network. This initiative is part of the national movement dynamic towards a digital economy, presented by the governmental plan "Digital Senegal 2015".
