Project description
In Cameroon, road accidents kill more than malaria does et bus accidents are common tragedies. Thanks to a geo-tracking system, the mobile application Traveler allows people to monitor the way bus drivers act in real-time and prevent overspeedings to avoid road accidents. With the participation of passengers who can report dangerous driving methods and save their route, these information can serve as a black box in case of accidents. This application created by young anglophones of Cameroon consists of an emergency system to assist passengers, working even with an off-line device.
