Mobile internet solutions in unconnected rural communities

Project description

GMSA, GIFEC and Vodafone are working together to bring the internet networks in rural areas of Ghana. the partnership will run from july 2019 to end of 2020, GMSA which will fund the project in network equipment while GIFEC will provide land for site coverage and Vodafone would be testing and deploying these innovations on their network. The fund will also enable tax and duty exemptions of up to thirty per cent for imported equipment to encourage reinvestment and enhance coverage extensions. this project will not only provide internet to rural places in Ghana but also will provide jobs for unemployed citizens and aswell as income to the government.
