For ill people not to consume fake medicine and in extenso counteract counterfeit of pharmaceutical products, but also as part of the combat for the quality of life and the access to quality products, the Ghanaian startup Mpedigree has developed the application Goldkeys, that allows users to verify the authenticity of a product by sending via SMS the code written on the medicine packaging. The company checks it and sends a message back to the consumer. Created in 2014 in Accra by the Ghanaian Bright Simons, this free verification system is today implanted in twelve countries of the African continent and in India.
