Project description
Already in Mali, Lemon Way, in partnership with the International Bank of Mali (IBM), provides for a mobile payment system of deposit and money transfer between Mali and European countries such as France, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Belgium, or Luxembourg, with a total of 750 000 clients. In order to hasten its B2C mobile account growth in Africa, Lemon Way has developed Lemon Way Africa, a new subsidiary established in Dakar, Senegal. To gain ground in Africa, Lemon Way first and foremost targets members of the Economic Community of West African States or ECOWAS (Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal and Togo) that use the same currency, as well as the Central African Economic and Monetary Community or CAEMC (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and Chad).
