Project description
The Global Healthsites Mapping project was set up during the Ebola crisis. This innovative initiative is meant to create maps gathering every health service in the world and make these informations available to all. It allows people, in case of epidemics, natural disasters or military conflict, to find the closest health services as well as what they include. It's of a crucial need for humanitarian relief first reaching a sinistered area. It acts as a reference point for health staff, NGOs and state organisations in their response during crises.
