The application mDiab Burundi is a mobile facility aiming at readily perform diagnoses alongside potential diabetic patients. Adelard Kakunze, creator of mDiab Burundi, based his work on the observation that the sooner diabetes is detected, the easier it is to be cured. With this mobile application, Burundians are able to know whether they are diabetic or not but also benefit from advice on their diet and lifestyle, in order to lessen the probability to ever become diabetic. Diabetic patients can, furthermore, benefit from medical monitoring on their mobile
