Project description
Mandated by the Guinean Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI), the global digital security leader Gemalto has completely modernised the electoral registry of Guinea. This project was led with the use of portable kits with biometric subscription given to citizens, even in remote areas. In total, 5000 operators were hired and formed to pilot the recruitment of voters in the country and abroad. Gemalto also provided the CENI with a monitoring solution consisting of an automatic fingerprints verification. Collected personal and biometric data are gathered to create a unique national register.
