Mundu Novu

A governmental programm to modernise education via the NICTs

Project description

The government of Cape Verde launched in 2009 the programm of redesigning of the educative system, branded Mundu Novu. The programm aims at putting the educative system in the service of the development of the country while modernising it and improving the quality of education for all of the citizens. One of the important components of Mundu Novu is how crucial the NICT are: there is a will to reduce the digital divide at the national scale, to form on the use of new technologies to increase digital inclusion and allow the country to benefit from a competitive working force at the international scale.
