PEG Africa subsidiaries provide solar home installations on a subscription basis to rural households in Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, and Mali. Peg Ghana's customers are mainly low-income farmers and fishermen. PEG Africa allows customers to pay for solar energy on a pay-as-you-go basis over the phone. If the user does not top up his credits, the system is blocked and cannot be used. After one year of payment, the customer becomes the owner.
