Project description
In 2017, the Rwandese accelerator Inkomoko has entered a partnership with the Bank of Kigali to launch an incubator targeting the startups oriented towards the ICTs. The selected startups will benefit from a seven months long coaching as well as loans up to 60 millions of RWF (73 000 USD) at zero rate. The incubator seeks startups or companies that already have an activity related to new technologies and overcome the most pressing challenges in Rwanda. The "Urumuri" initiative was launched for the 50th anniversary of the Bank of Kigali, which took this opportunity to back the startups meant to boost the growth of Rwanda for the next fifty years up.
